LakeWise 2021 Updates
Over the course of the summer, we worked on revitalizing the LakeWise Program at Lake Carmi. Improving water quality here will only occur if everyone in the community does their part to help protect the lake. We sent out a survey towards the beginning of the summer to guage interest in the program and worked with folks who responded to evaluate some shore front properties, provide advice for what folks can do on their property to help improve water quality, and awarded those who met the standards for LakeWise certification.
